As the title states, I am looking for someone to teach me (and answer some questions I have) about kernels.
As Android kernel is Linux based I don't mind if we get into the Linux kernel first, but the goal is to later do some minor Android Kernel modifications
(more specifically, change the Android USB Driver)
Im low in knowledge when it comes to kernels and such but I know my way around in Linux (Ubuntu) and have other software/coding experience.
knowing his way around [url removed, login to view] tutorials like:

Some of the things I'd like to know:
- What are the differences between Roms and Kernels?
- What is Rom flashing and how do you do it?
- Is there a way to change a kernel driver and not having to rebuild the whole kernel. If so, how?
This about sums it up for now. I don't mind if you don't know the exact answers, as long as we would be able to figure it out together.
On a side-note: If you are able to ONLY teach me how to modify a Android USB Driver, there will be a nice $$ bonus involved as this is my goal ;)
