To save you time reading my project:
I need a Linux expert who already spent ages installing HW in this OS, preferably BackTrack savvy and knowledge of VMWare Fusion would help as well.
Hi there, I have a nasty installation you may be able to help me with - I got a USB wireless network adapter which is only running in wired mode instead of wireless mode within my Virtual Machine.
My setup: Mac OS Mountain Lion Laptop running VMWare Fusion with Kali OS. This is an OS based on Ubuntu, very similar to BackTrack.
wireless network adapter: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0041L3FI8/ref=oh_details_o06_s00_i01?ie=UTF8&psc=1
The adapter works great under Mountain Lion and it is running in wired mode in my virtual machine. But whatever I do, I can not get the adapter into wireless mode to scan/monitor wifi networks.
You will have a remote access and my skype details to explain me what you are doing throughout the installation.
Suggested Reward 50$ - obviously only released if he wireless adapter is successfully installed :)

I'm Irish too! I have loads of experience using Backtrack 4 and 5. Have downloaded Kali but haven't yet used it. Its pretty much the same though. I know exactly how to install the driver for you :)
