Project Description

Hi,

I'm looking for an experience Rails developer to assist on a short to medium term project. It is possible this will extend out. I'm looking for someone immediately.

Requiered skills:

1). Ruby on Rails
2). Git
3). Experience running/managing local and remote linux environments and providing advice on Rails best practices.

Please pay attention here. If you send me a canned response (i.e. you copy and paste your response) I will delete it immediately without even reading it. Do not bother sending it to me. I will interview people AFTER I have seen your skills so please don't IM me with 'hire me now - i can start now - right this second' type of stuff. I will interview you - be patient.

Please let me know your experience with Rails, send me a link to your github/bitbucket public account WITH code that I can view. Also, I would like to see projects you have built (in Rails) and what your role was. If you have additional expeirence just give me a short list of what you have done.

Start date. This project will start immediately upon developer selection. You must work during US business hours only, along with the rest of my team. You will be provided a repository and Virtual Machine that contains all elements necessary to get setup and working. I'm mostly interested in individuals and not teams or companies. I work directly with developers, not with handlers so don't expect me to wait around for your programmer to show up - if that's what you're doing, then just skip this post.

Thanks and best of luck.
