Project Description

Please see our site: Our primary products are the PC Watchdogs that are available for PCI, PCIe, USB, and Serial ports.

We currently have a DLL written for end users to interact with our hardware from their own application programs.

You can get the DLL manual here: [url removed, login to view]

We also have two applications written in VB: One application is for configuring and testing the watchdogs and the other is a TSR type application that automatically "tickles" the watchdogs for end users that do not write their own code.

You can find the manuals for them at: [url removed, login to view]

and: [url removed, login to view]

In the past other authors have already done Linux drivers for our PCI, USB, and Serial products. Our PCIe should be easy because it is Serial (COMM) port based.

What we need is our DLL converted to a Linux equivalent, our 2 APs ported to Linux GUI, and documentation for use under Linux.

You would need a Version of Visual Studio 2008 or higher and a windows PC to see how the current code works. We would provide you a sample of each one of our boards that would be yours to keep at the completion of work as well as all source code for the Windows Aps.

You will have the freedom to have you name in all the Aps as the author (which might bring you follow on work).

Our first preference is a Freelancer in the US - Eastern or Central time zones so phone calls can be used to solve issue quickly.

Our time frame is to start within 30 days or less with a completion by June 30.

We have no notions of the time required for this effort so please let us know if project estimate incorrect.

Thank you
