Now we have >2000 visitors online and the website [url removed, login to view] works very slow. When we have <1700 visitors, it runs fast.
CPU: 4 cores 2300 Mhz
RAM: 16 GB (it was 8 GB, but adding additional 8 GB didn't help, all spare RAM goes to cache)
The strange thing is that Load average is < 4 (there are 4 cores) and it works slow.
The website and queries are more or less optimised.
I think that the problem is with webserver configuration (probably, Apache configuration).
