I have a webserver that I took off line for an extended period of time. It was functioning perfectly when I powered it down. Physicaly it is fine as it never left the rack. Now I have a new ISP with new IP address etc and I just can't seem to get the websites to appear on line. I know I'm very close but just missing something. I'm looking for someone with familiarity with CentOS 5 that can bring this live again. I also have not been able to log in to root. I am able to log in to single user mode and change the password but even so it is not letting me log in once it reboots. I assume this is because of security settings I previously had. I made my changes to IP from the single user mode. Oh when the server boots it appears there is an extra space in the IP address. Should be easy to fix this but again I'm lost as I can't figure out how I changed the IP to begin with. I'm not a tech and don't have one so I do the best I can but need help please.
I can get you access to the server via a Startech IPKVM and can get you to the single user mode. I believe someone familiar with this type of setup could take it from there.
Thank you for your consideration.
