Need a "file comparer" that runs under "Linux Mint 15". It is critical that it supports
same file formats as that is found in Linux Mint. Also critical that it can read
as many different file formats as possible since app must read entire content of file
in order to give it a SHA512 value. Must read data in UTF-16 format.
Must also be able to read insize compressed files (zip, tar, gzip, rar and so on).
Not sure how to read as many formats of files a spossible but since most of such files
will be coded (exe, dll, enc and so on) files then am assuming that the application "KATE" (included in Linux Mint XFCE 15) might be a good option? Please advise.
