Item #1 - Welcome Letter
The first item that you want to put in your new customer welcome kit is a welcome letter. This letter will thank the customer for selecting usand provide them with a list of contact information for you and your company.
Item #2 - Product Brochures
The second item that we want to add to our welcome kit is product brochures. We will want to include brochures for both the items or services that the customer has already purchased, as well as for other products that you think they may be interested in. These brochures need to have illustrations, product descriptions, pricing information and ordering information.
Item #3 - Order Forms
You need to include order forms with your welcome package. These forms serve a couple of purposes. First they provide customers with a quick way to place an order via the mail, online or the phone. The second purpose that they serve is as a price list. This form can be used as a quick reference for when the customer has a question about products or when they want to reorder products.
Item #4 - Coupons
Coupons are a great motivator for repeat orders. You can easily design and print out your own coupons for next to nothing. However, you need to code your coupons so that they can be used online or over the phone as well as with mail in orders.
Item #6 - General Information
The final item that you will want to add to your new customer welcome kit is a booklet or brochure that contains general information about your company or the product that your customer ordered. This brochure should contain information about how to contact technical support, customer service or to request a refund.
