Project Description

I am looking to have my product taken from concept to manufacturing. This project includes designing the enclosure, the PCB board, choosing the electrical components, finding a manufacturer and delivering a prototype (which would ideally be supplied from the prospective manufacture).

Product details:

A small device, perhaps credit card sized or smaller (yet thicker), which will vibrate at a random predefined interval. This should create a vibration slightly stronger than cellphones. To achieve that form factor a flat battery like a CR2032 should be used -- this can change depending on projected battery life but a small profile is preferred over a full size 9V if possible. Case should be something cheap, like a plastic snap together case. Should have small cheap, on/off switch.

The enclosure should have an embossed or engraving with company/product name. It should also include a small magnet on one side which can be attached externally.

The product should be minimalistic and low cost. It really only consists of the enclosure, battery, vibrating element, random timer, pcb board and power switch. I would also want some sort of low cost packaging.

Deliverable: A fully working prototype which will look and function like the manufactured version. PCB Design, parts list, schematics, enclosure design, etc. -- everything to hand to a manufacturer for production. Furthermore, a quote and contact information for manufacturing different quantities should be supplied.
