Project Description

Ever received a marketing SMS on your phone and thought how poor the wording was and just in general how annoying it was. Well here is your opportunity to make a difference.

We need some new copy to get people to respond to us if they have not already claimed back money owed to them by the banks for mis-sold payment protection insurance on a credit card or loan. Many people were not even told they had been sold this insurance and many people do not know they are due money back. Unless you have been living in a cave for the past year you will have seen tv adverts or received an sms about it.

Rest assured we only send messages to people who have opted into receiving messages from us so we don't spam and are compliant with all applicable legislation. To that end the message can be no longer than 160 characters, it must offer them the option to reply PPI to get more information or STOP to opt out of any further communication. We must also reserve 9 characters at the end of the message to identify the sender.

There must also be no mislelading information in the message. If you want to put in figures for average claim amounts then make them up and we will replace with accurate figures. If you have been in a cave and want to know more information about it then please read up about it by searching Google for "ppi misselling".

Example message: "Most people that got PPI compensation didn’t even know they had it. Could you be owed £4999? Reply PPI to find out if you can claim. STOP to opt out: xxxxxxxxx"

When applying for the job send me one example of a message and if you win the job you will have to create 5 more variants.
