I have a partially completed 2D AutoCAD drawing of a component cross section. This needs some updating to reflect changes; eg the component wall thicknesses is to be changed, dimensional changes and other updates to fine details etc.
The drawing is of a few plastic cross-sections which need to fit together. It would suit someone used to producing drawings of mechanical engineering components.
I am a trained mechanical engineer (no longer practicing) - now doing project management etc and never learned AutoCAD, but know what I want. The existing drawing makes extensive use of layers, continuous lines, radii etc which is why a mechanical engineeing experience rather than building floorplans experience is needed.
This item is for a private project and not related to my day job.
It probably needs several short sessions when I'd [url removed, login to view] scanned freehand drawings / changes and maybe telephone call + IM + screensharing session.
The changes are being made to improve the design after speaking / taking advice from the workshop foreman. The orginial drawings were done by a freelancer who has since got a full time job and moved away.
Being fair all round, I'm probably looking for an hourly rate, in 15 minute increments. There would probably be a few sessions as I'd need to speak with my craftsman once or twice. Each session could have a milestone payment on completion.
