I know almost nothing about the inner workings of Microsoft Access. I need assistance in creating a database, forms for basic data entry, reports from the data and procedures for updating the information.
As much detail as I can muster:
I'll be tracking airplanes for sale.
The database needs to track total registered airplanes (data from federal website, excel) and airplanes for sale (from various online sources (manual data entry). This will include different models and manufactures.
I'd like to be able to report: changes to the data (from federal website), sales information (from multiple online sources) and airplanes no longer for sale (that were in the previous cycle). I also need to be able to report airplanes that for sale last month at $X and are now for sale at $Y.
Also need standard reports such as airplanes in a given state, airplanes owned by a single company, airplanes registered to a single address.
As we get into the project I'm certain there will be other reports/data entry points etc that I'll need. Looking for someone who can help me understand what exactly I am looking for.
