Our small sales organization has a legacy Access database, split into front and back ends. i work in the main office, and the other 3 employees are in remote locations. We work on the application by logging into our user accounts on our windows server. 4 people at a time max. I would like to get away from managing our own server and move to google apps or Office 365. But this Access database can't come along for the ride unless we convert it to a web friendly format. Since I am familiar with access I thought it would be easiest for me to have it converted to 2013 .accdb so I could use it on Sharepoint in Office 365. But I would be open to other suggestions as well.
In addition to converting the database to 2013 there are also some changes that have to be made to a couple of table and relationship designs to eliminate some data duplication. We would have to find the duplicates and figure out how to keep the data in related tables from getting lost when we fix the issue causing the duplication.
I have about 100 tables in the database (there are about 130 total, but I can lose some that are no longer needed.)
Specifically I need someone to make the changes needed to our old back end mdb so it is compatible with the web; design some of our most commonly used forms, queries and reports so we can start using the data once we make the switch; import the data from our mdb to the new tables once the conversion has been done.
I'll consider fixed price proposals as well.
