I need a calculation parser GUI MS Access form. The goal is to be able to store metrics’ (calculations) definitions / metadata defined on a business area – in a well-structured way in a relational database. I have already designed the abstraction logic and a high level structure, but the GUI (access form + local tables) has to be developed.
The final backend database will be in Oracle, which will be synchronised with Access local tables through ODBC, but the GUI should be in MS Access 2010, and if possible in a web compatible format (to be migrated to Sharepoint 2010 later on). The GUI Access application should be delivered in accdb and accde formats. During the development using VBA macros should be AVOIDED as much as possible, only standard Access functions, forms, queries, etc. should be used (in case it is not possible, it should be raised, discussed BEFORE the implementation made).
There are also detailed documentation deliverables:
• Detailed development documentation, describing the steps performed, options selected, functions used during the development in a logical sequence. It should include screenshots about the major steps of the development plus should focus on parameters / options set (and where and how to change). Should include some notes / advices how to modify things if required.
• Deployment and usage documentation, including how to copy, how to start up the application, what are the files delivered, what are the requirements, settings to prepare to be able to run the application in a password protected mode.
