We are a translations company looking for someone to create our new database of contacts.
Over the years we built up a database of contacts using a program from a company that went out of business a couple of years ago. This database used to work well for us, but now we need to recreate a database using a current program that can be updated in time.
We have decided (unless advised otherwise) to use Microsoft Access for our new database.
Unfortunately, it has proved very difficult to export our contacts from the old program in a format that is useable by other database programs. The only way to export our contact information was to export each contact's information into individual Word files.
This means that we have a Word file for each of our 5337 contacts. Attached, please see 3 examples of our contact files. On average, each entry is made up of 200 to 300 words and comprises:

Notes (on this person or company)
Our requirement for the new database:
We are looking for a person or team to:
1. Enter all our contact entries into the new database
2. Design and create the new database to function in a similar manner as our previous database.
Note: our previous database was made up of 6 different directories, covering the areas which are important to the operation of our business. These directories worked independently of each other, as they do not overlap in any way.
