I need a access database that I can type in a simple switchboard a room number. The room number would correspond to a room in a building that has a list of furniture. Much of the furniture is the same: Chair, Sofa, computer, monitor, etc. I have over 2000 items that list in the spreadsheet ( i import this): But basically I open Access and type in room number and then a report populates that has all of the corresponding items in it.
I need to have it dummy proof so that people (little ones) can click on program and it automatically populates with that switchboard that has a drop down for a list of rooms and also a room number option: both if possible.
If you start the data list (just ten or fifteen items) I will type or drop in my excel spreadsheet that has all of the room items (chairs, sofa, etc).
The final report showing the list of items need to be sharp allowing me to add a graphic and some basic information that can be printed on each page.
