I have an android app that opens a webview the mobile version of a dating site that I run.
Currently, the app has been built so that users may upload a photo or video from the gallery.
To do this, their is an input that when clicked opens up a file dialog box that let's them choose the picture/video from the gallery, skydrive, dropbox, etc.
However, it only works on photos or videos that are already in the gallery.
What I want is when the file dialog box opens for it to also have the option of using the camera or camcorder to take a picture/record a video and have that uploaded.
If you visit the site using the standard Chrome browser in an android mobile device and click the button to upload a photo/video, that dialog box has the option to use the camera/camcorder to create/upload the video or choose from the gallery. I simply want it to function the same way.
This app needs to work in all versions of Android from Android 2.1 to the latest version of Android.
I've attached two images that show what I'm looking for. One image shows what currently shows up as an option utilizing the webview of my app. The second shows what is available when visiting the mobile version of the site using Chrome.
