Project Description

We need android application (Android 2.0 and above), which will allow displaying and editing entries in a planning calendar. Design should be related to our desktop application which is on figure1. The mobile version should allow more compact view, for example, one column (representing resource, for ex. room), which can be switched by sliding left / right for small display. It should also provide larger view, for larger display or overview. It is enough to use one current day. Each calendar entry contains:

• DateTime from

• DateTime to

• Description

• Reference to person (patient) and person detalis(name, surname, birthdate etc.)

• State (integer, should correlate with color of entry)

• Reference to resource (for ex. room)

Application will connect to WCF service, written in c#, by using secured protocol (https).

Service will provide following information:

1. Authentication method (parameters: username, password)

2. List of calendar entries for given day

3. List of person for given search phrase

4. Person (patient) for given ID

5. List of resources (rooms)

6. Create calendar entry

7. Update calendar entry

8. Delete calendar entry

Application is going to have following features:

• Authentication – username / password

• Current day selection

• Calendar view

• New entry form similar to figure 3

• Search person form (search by search phrase)

• Update entry ()

o Update time of selected entry by sliding up / down

o Update related person

o Update basic properties : time from, time to, description, state

• Delete entry

• Show details of selected entry (Date, start date, end date, description, details of related person, and few other properties provided by service)
