We're looking to convert an iBook to an Android app. The current book has three simple cost calculators, a few embedded videos and a couple sections where you answer a yes/no question and get taken to a one- or two-page subsection. Beyond that, it's simply a table of contents and a bunch of slides (around 60). We can provide all assets and show you the current book.
The app would work on both 10" and 7" tablets. Sticking with landscape orientation would be fine. A page turning animation would be a nice bonus.
We'd like to be able to update some of the content ourselves (to an extent that does not affect the layout/formatting of the book - just pictures and video and minor text pieces. Perhaps the app could read a remote XML or JSON file to check for changes and the assets could be downloaded if needed (if the Android API allows this).
