Project Description

The app has information about the Presbyterian Church in NSW Australia.

I have already had this app created by someone, however the work had some quality issues. I have viewed the app on an iPad and iPhone, and it works but the back button crashes it.

The app is quite simple, 5 pages, most of which are static lists of links. One, the news page, is populated by a dynamic feed from a news page on the organisations website. The links open pages from the website. That all works. One or two of the links might require updating, as they may have changed in the months since the draft app was produced.

When you test the in XCode it reports a number of bugs/issues, but they are pretty minor, and only the back button problem is stopping it from being fully operational. Also, the app doesn't work in landscape format, but this would be OK if it were prevented from rotating. As it is, it rotates and looks terrible, because the layout has not been adapted to landscape format. So rather than make new layouts, I would be happy if you just organised it NOT to rotate to landscape format.

If you are interested I will send the code of the app, and also give you login for my developer account, or you can use your own, whichever suits.

I want you to:

1. debug the app, and send me a working version to test.

2. submit the app to apple for publishing, or help me with advice to do it though my developer account. I have not sent an app for publishing before, but I have registered as a developer with Apple.

The attachment shows screenshots of each page of the app. As you see, they are all static text except the last which has a news feed from their website.

In choosing a contractor, I will prefer someone who also has Android skills, as we will publish an android version of the app next and I would rather use the same developer for both.
