I need to convert this Win32 application into a Windows Store (WinRT) app. The code can be found here:

This project is a multi game emulator. It lets you play games in different emulated console (Nintendo, Sega, etc). I need the Windows Store App to behave EXACTLY like the Win32 App. This includes (but is not limited to):
1) Loading a rom
2) Playing a game
3) Working Audio
4) Working Video at a smooth FPS rate
5) Save/Load Rom State
6) Change config options (input settings etc).
These are just examples. This app should be a duplicate of the Win32 version but running as a Windows Store app. Some APIs are different etc, but you should be able to leverage the opensource project as a good starting point.
The final UI should not matter too much now since we will change it later, but should be functional. The final app should still be in XAML/C#
