Project Description

I´m requiring a mobile application developer skilled in both objective-c and the doom engine codebase to adapt an old game to the iphone and ipad. The game is called Strife, and it uses the doom engine, which is free and open source. The codebase is available at this git hub repository:

This source itself is based on another codebase called prboom, which doesnt support the additional features Strife has like dialogs, and inventory, but there´s another codebase called zdoom, available at [url removed, login to view], which does.

Here´s more information on the game: [url removed, login to view] . Most game-specific features can be found already implemented in zdoom codebase, The controls should be easy to use, similar to that of doom on the iphone, adding support for Strife´s features like inventory and dialogs. The game should run well on current devices like the iphone 5 and the ipad mini. The map should be easily available as the game can be difficult to navigate. If there´s any questions regarding the game and the project, I'll be happy to respond to them. I need to be able to contact whoever is hired immediately, through skype and email.
