Project Description

Currently i am part of a team that has generated a feasibility study to seek invest for an app. The app detail at this point is undisclosed. However if sound advice to enhance the investment pitch is gained we will pass the work to this freelancer.

This is an app that requires the use of google working in the background but essentially enables the user to input a location, a category and then a NUMBER of things they want to create a search string that will display a list of results at the end.

The project hits a technical brick wall as there are 3 refining stages which require some evidence of technical explanation for the study to secure investment from someone who knows how to make the refine stages work.

there are 3 main refining stages

(1) an exclusion list of all other search engines eg: gumtree results, ebay etc to ensure its businesses located... (2) display the top ten results (per EACH material entered) by its rank giving it a score of 10 if it appears top and 1 if its the tenth.... (3) score by appearance..essentially this takes each individual sets of materials and each set of 10 results for those materials and refines it based on were it appears in the list of each eg: material A appears 2nd in its ten results (score 9) ....material C appears 6th in its ten results (score 5) and material D appears 9th in its ten results (score 2)

Finally the app needs to calculate that 3rd refining stage together to generate which business supplies the most by adding the 9+5+2 and using the final score determine the business that supplies the most of the original desire materials.

Alot of planning has went into this app and it has the backing of investment body InvestNI but the plan needs to be strengthened with technical knowledge.
