There is a problem.
In many of modern smartphones the Bluetooth module is shut off when the display is blocked (if it wasn't connected to any other Bluetooth) . I checked iPhone, some Samsung smartphone and NOKIA smartphone (under Windows 8). Everywhere is the same.
For some reason the local problem is that the DEFINITE smartphone should always be identified by scanning its Bluetooth without connecting to that interface. In other words, Bluetooth should always respond to the +INQ? command regardless the display is blocked or not. It looks like it could be overcome with writing some small application or maybe with changing smartphone parameters at the start of OS.
Of course iPhone or Android or Windows 8 smartphones are rather different ones, to make the only one solution. So I'm ready to receive suggestions to only one of OS's. But if somebody could make a common solution that could be ported to any platform it will be the best solution.
