Project Description

We are looking to outsource a project to create a fun and educational children's app built with Corona SDK, targeting the 5-7 year age range. Whilst we have built our own Corona apps in the past, this is a bit more advanced hence wanting to outsource.

We would not need a fully completed app - just the engine / functionality. We have our own design team that are providing images and audio and we are capable of finish the app ourselves.

The project would consist of a plan of a house and garden that you can explore. Each room or location would contain a game to help improve word skills. Games would include matching rhyming words together (scroll wheels perhaps - like a combination lock), to match word-endings ("sleep" would pair with "ing" to make a complete word), another game would have a "secret spy" type element where you would unscramble letters or a code to make a word. There could be a drag-and-stop element to take a word and drop it onto a hotspot. Lastly, to match a word with a definition - this would also require the words to be spoken out loud.

The games would need some simple scoring system (attempts / correct answers) and then a leaderboard. Happy to use either one of the existing game score products, or to have a serverside script talk to the app using PHP/MySQL.

As I said earlier, please use dummy images and dummy text. We can fill this in when the content is made available internally. We are just interested in a fully working skeleton and not about the design / content side.
