Project Description

This job is to build an Iphone application that shows website owners the number of users currently on their site using information from Google Analytics.

I have reviewed other Google Analytics applications available on the Apple app store but have not been able to find one that can show real time data.

This app does NOT need show data from the other reports on Google Analytics e.g. Aquisition, Ecommerce etc. etc

I do not know if the real time data is available via the API if it is not then i guess this app is not possible, the right person for this job should know if it is possible and will have experience working with the Google API.

I see there being around 7 different pages. Namely:

Accounts overview (lists all GA accounts for those login details)
Profiles - lists all profiles for the selected account
Default page is overview ([url removed, login to view])
User can then switch to other reports by selecting box in top left

other reports all contain the current visitors on the site as the main number. the only difference in data displayed is how the split information is displayed. e.g 60% New 40% Returning.

the other reports screens would be

Traffic Sources

In Google Analytics on the desktop these are both available as sub-reports of Real Time and contain a lot more information. for this app only the % split of users is required.

I would also like to show the split of the different Devices used to to view the website ([url removed, login to view]). Although Google Analytics on the desktop does not have an explicit report for this, the customer by device split is shown under the main Realtime number for Content, Events and Conversions.

Each report should be able to update every couple of seconds and the text should appear to count up and down as users join/exit the site.

I look forward to your bids and proposals.
