Project Description

I have a free iPhone/iPad App on iTunes that needs to be ported to Android.

[url removed, login to view]

The App is intended to be a valuable tool for studying the Qur'an (muslim holy book) - and as such, bidders should have some familiarity with the Qur'an, due to the nature of the project. Below is a brief description of what's involved (non exhaustive):

* The app has 5 tabs, including settings.
* Tab 1 - Allows browsing, chapter-wise.
* Tab 2 - Full text-search, both English/Arabic
* Tab 3 - Index of verses on various topics.
* Tab 4 - Allows categorized bookmarking of verses.
* Tab 5 - Settings, e.g. choosing a certain translation out of 4, toggling display of Arabic/English text etc.

The App works off an SQLite database, with png images of Arabic verses and the English translations, which I will provide, along with all art-work. I will also provide a design document to the successful bidder, with detailed SQL queries for each tab in the App.

I have personally designed and coded the iPhone App, so there will be no shortage of direction during the development process.

Deliverables include:

* Functioning, robust, thoroughly tested android code-base for the App.
* Modular maintainable code.
* Must maintain proactive communication throughout the development process.

Bidder's Qualifications:

* Must have a decent portfolio of developed applications on both Android and IOS platforms.

p.s. Please only contact after you've had a through look at the iOS App (link above).

Happy Bidding!
