Project Description

This is an in depth description of my needed application. It is an app that when a user hits the snooze button it automatically donates to a selected charity through their pay pal account.

Below should detail every aspect of the app, so no surprises should arise. (And I expect the same from your bid!)

I already have all of the design finished and will give all assets to the winning bid. I have posted what the initial launch screen will look like.

All screens and buttons described in this text are shown in the attached pictures. All of the below information goes into detail on how each of these designed pages will interact.

Also included in the image is a before, during, and after pressing each of the buttons.

Upon clicking on the app the “launch screen” is displayed.

There are three options, click ALARM, CHARITY, or SETTINGS (the gear icon).

Clicking ALARM for the first time (or without an alarm set) will take the user to the “error charity screen”.

From there, the user can click on CLOSE to close the app, or CHOOSE CHARITY to choose a charity, or SETTINGS.

Clicking CHOOSE CHARITY takes the user to the “choose your charity screen”.

There the user can scroll the list of available charities to select which one to donate to.

The app will be pre-loaded with a certain number of charities and the user is only able to choose one in the app.

If charity names are too long they are truncated and end with ellipses to remain on a single type line.

There are two options, search and select.

By clicking in the search box the user is able to type part or an entire charity name and find an exact charity to select. This search function should allow partial search terms to bring up full search terms. i.e. searching “pet” will deliver “PETA” as an option to choose.

Clicking on the magnifying glass icon in the search bar conducts the search.

Once the user has decided on a charity, they click on the charity name.

Clicking on a charity name will bring the user to its respective “Individual Charity Screen”.

Here the user can read more about the charity and SELECT THE CHARITY.

Each charity will have 1-2 paragraphs of text as a description. If this description is too long to fit on the screen, it will fade to a white gradient at the bottom of the screen (as shown in the attached images).

Upon hitting SELECT THIS CHARITY, the button then displays SELECTED.

The selected charity will be used for all donations. The charity can be changed at any time.

The user can also back to the previous screen of “choose your charity screen”.

After the user has selected a charity they then must enter their PayPal credentials.

If they try to go to the “alarm screen” without entering PayPal, it will go to the “Need PayPal Information screen”.

From the “Need PayPal Information Screen” the user can click on SETUP PAYPAL, and go to the “Link PayPal Screen”.

At this screen, the user can enter their username and password information to link to PayPal. The app will connect to PayPal and give an error saying “Sorry, we cannot connect to PayPal. Please try entering your information again” if the user does not provide correct username and password. Upon successful connection to PayPal, a dialog box will display stating “Great, you are all linked up.”

The user can click the REMEMBER check box to remember the login credentials.

After the user has linked PayPal, they must click on one of two buttons: YES, I WANT TO HELP CHARITY BECAUSE OF MY LAZINESS, or NO, I HATE CHARITY.

Clicking on the first button allows the application to donate money from PayPal automatically. Clicking the second button will continue to prohibit the user from creating an alarm.

I STILL HAVE MORE DESCRIPTION, BUT IT WILL NOT FIT. Please get in touch with me for the remaining specific instructions.
