Programming question: Uploading video to Facebook in 60 fps makes the video lag

Hi!

We have videos that go in high speed, many fast transitions. We are uploading videos to Facebook from our IOS app and this makes the video lagg, we have 60 fps and facebook converts to 30 fps and this makes the video lagg. We have tried 30-120fps, mp4 and mov (h264) format but it still lags.

I wonder if anyone else has experience of uploading videos to facebook and making it work without lag for high speed transitions?

We are rendering with AV Foundation in the Objective-C library to create a video. If we can get ideas on how to tweak that, or use another way of creating a video or how to post so Facebook does not destroy our movie, it would be helpful.
