Project Budget$250 - $750 USD
The customer has a number of RFID readers which support an HTTP interface. The readers are Convergence Systems CS461, documentation for which is available online. The task is to gather the information from UHF Gen 2 RFID cards which are presented to the readers and transfer it to a database in the Amazon Dynamo DB cloud.
In DynamoDB the Serial Number and Timestamp should be primary and secondary (associated) keys. The information uploaded will be something like this:
”[url removed, login to view]”
Provide an application, written in any convenient language including possibly scripting languages, that has a simple user interface, allows configuration of readers by setting up IP addresses, and shows ongoing traffic onscreen. The application must accept AWS credentials at configuration time, and automatically recover from a restart or power failure. It should maintain a status of each of the connected devices. An error log, separate from the traffic display onscreen should be supplied.
The application will be operating on the same intranet, within the same firewall as the readers themselves. The AWS cloud will obviously be outside the intranet.
The developer should specify the language to be used, previous knowledge of CS461 and other RFID applications, previous knowledge of AWS, and delivery schedule.
