Project Description

Hello, okay so I'm working on making a magazine for Apple Newsstand and I got the app partway built. in it's current state it does show up and launch from the news stand and can display the pages of the magazine and navigate with in the pages just fine. but as I'm sure you know there's more to newsstand apps then that. there's the push notifications, background downloading, and the in app store where they can buy issue and/or subscribe. and I haven't yet figured out how all that in ios yet. and I have to have the whole thing done and ready to go live on oct 1st, and I still got a day job where I gotta work on something else entirely until this takes off. so I'm to the point where I don't got the time to keep messing with it and trying to figure it all out on my own. so what I need from you is the missing piece to my app, and of course since what I'm paying you for will not be used on it's own I'll need the source code so I can mesh it with my existing code. Now here's a run down of what I'm expecting your code to do:

when the app launches it'll download the list of available magazine issues off my server, and then display it in a list with the magazine covers. give the users a chance to buy a subscription (term lengths and prices I can customize) or buy individual issues. Handle downloading a zip file with the magazine content and then unzipping it when demanded. manage the users "library" of downloaded issues for this magazine and present the gui to the user so they can select what one to view.

Respond to the push notification, that a new issue is ready and display that and background download it if they are subscribed. for the part where the user picks what one to view your code can just pull up a blank view and once I get it I'll change it to load up the magazine reader part that I do have done. but your code should hand off the directory the zip files where unzipped to so that the reader knows where to get the content it's reading. I'd also like a way to "exit" back to the "magazine store" for that you can just put a button on the dummy view that exits that and goes back to the store part. and I'll use the code in that button where I want the exit button to appear. also for the notifications part I'm using pushwoosh, they are like UA but don't gotta pay anywhere near as much for them. here's there website [url removed, login to view]

also you don't gotta worry about making the ui look good, as I just need it functional. I'll edit the look once I get it.
