Project Description

I need an application that will simply block a cell phone from use when paired with an in vehicle blue tooth device. This can be a factory installed device or customer installed. The software setup will ask the administrator what blue tooth device will be used to initiate the safe driving functions.

When the driver gets in the vehicle, and the Bluetooth that is paired with the iPhone initializes, any text message or email sent to the phone will go straight to the inbox with no notification of a text message being received. This will eliminate the distraction of receiving text messages and emails while driving. The application will also block the ability to text message, email, or use the phone without the Bluetooth hands free device while driving. For emergency purposes, a speed dial button should show on the display the ability to dial 911 and two emergency programmable numbers at any time.

Another feature that would be beneficial is the ability to setup safe time frames to use the phone. For example, the parent of a teen can limit the ability to use the phone during school hours with the exception of 911, or two emergency phone numbers the teen can call at anytime of day or night, regardless of time frames set.

Please be very specific on time frame you anticipate for creation of the application and testing. I would like examples sent via PM of projects you have completed and that have been put into the iPhone app store.

This will be a free app from a non-profit for parents mainly to use for teen safety while driving. Budget is tight, so please be kind.
