Project Description

An iPhone 4s video recorder application with moving image stabilizer based on patented ZeroShake technology. Between the capture of the frames and the recording to camera-roll and display, the individual frames will have to be rotated, translated, cropped and scaled following certain algorithms and input data. Input data comes from a small number of user settings and the gyroscope values reading.

We have a crude version already partly working, based on iOS4. This is not a standard iPhone app development project. Some developers have tried, but failed to make it work perfectly. We are looking for a developer (or developers) with plenty of proven skills in the following subjects;

- FFMpeg or OpenCV vision library (use of matrices)

- Mems gyroscope use and calibration filtering

- Camera features of iOS5.x

- Strong understanding of trigonometry

If you can program an application such as Luma or DollyCam for the iPhone, then you should be able to build our app as well.

Please only bid, if you are confident you have the necessary skills. After the initial basic application, many more features will need to be developed, so plenty of work will be available.
