Project Description

Requesting the development of an application that can be used as a stopwatch or a pace clock or both. The iPOD would display the total elapsed time in Hours, Minutes, Seconds and Hundreds of Seconds: HH:MM:[url removed, login to view] from being started. Time can start from zero or be set to start at a given time. Once set the stopwatch/clock would be started. Time could be stopped, reset or restarted from the stopping point. Times can be named and saved when stopped. The display could utilize any color background and the digits could take on any color and typeface. The size of the digits will be proportional to the size of the window. FULL SCREEN and EXTERNAL VIDEO must be accommodated. The pace feature would require the user to input the distance they are from the start in 10ths (.1) of a mile. For example, if the user where in the middle of a half marathon they would input [url removed, login to view] miles. The pace would calculate at a very high rate using the elapsed time to a very low rate. Starting threshold would be 1 sec per mile to an ending threshold of 60 minutes per mile. Pace will also use the format of HH:MM:[url removed, login to view] per mile or kilometer. This application will not be carried mobilely like a garmin forerunner. There will be no GPS tracking capabilities in this version. The premise of the project is to create a stopwatch/clock that will remain stationary like a race clock.
