Project Description

Basically need flash to write to a database and also flash to read from it. (asp)

The Brief:

Database to be used should be MS-SQL. This should be SQL 2008R2 or lower so that we will be able to restore it on our infrastructure

Technology for interaction between Flash and the database should be [url removed, login to view] V4 (C#)

In this flash training, we would need a user to go to it, and pull their name from a set piece of code.

The visiting user can be identified by getting the userId from the network.

This code will be provided.

The following information would need to be stored.

Game 1 :

A 10 question quiz that a user clicks on.

Wrong answer give you 0 score.

Right answer gives you 1 score.

The final score is stored in a variable “z”

This would need to be saved to the user. If they don’t get 100% score they would have to retake the quiz. So this would need to overwrite there old score after retaking it.

Game 2 :

This game is also a quiz. And would have to store the score total with the username and quiz 2.

The final score is stored in a variable “w”

Again if they don’t get 100% they would need to be able to retake it.

There will still be more quizzes that need to be added.

Progress of training

There will also be a variable at the end of each section that is stored, to save progress.

If a person completes module 1 and doesn’t have time to finish module 2 and closes the game, there progress up till the end of a section would need to be saved, so when they go back to the game it will load where they were and open up the navigation to where they were.

This variable is stored in “posnavvar”

Which after the completion of a game with 100% is stored in the database, Which will be called at the start of a file, If they have not completed any modules, a value of 0 will still have to be called from the database.
