I would like to start using LuaInterface, a library for scripting the .NET CLR with Lua. To get started I need a working example which can be build with Visual Studio 2012. I found LuaInterface and example projects on the internet but I have trouble to compile it on my computer (Win 7, 64 bit). So the deliverables for this project are:
1. Compile LuaInterface on a 64 bit system
Download the latest version of LuaInterface (2.0.4 or newer) from the internet and compile it using Visual Studio 2012. Get the examples in the the /samples directory to work (please note: there is a comment in the todo file of the luainterface package that one example does not work due to threading problems - it is not part of this project to get this fixed, just the other examples should work).
You can probably find some helping entries here if you search for LuaInterface on: [login to view URL]
2. Run example code showing interaction of VS and lua
Get an example working that uses Visual Studio C# code to create a window (Window Forms) with a button and a display field or label. If the button is pressed execute some lua code to change text/content of the display field or label.
I found the following example, it would be nice if you could get this one to work. It may be as easy as replacing the .dll files with the ones created in deliverable 1 and compile the example. You can find the example here: [login to view URL]
3. Help me get it working on my machine
Send me deliverables 1 & 2 as Visual Studio 2012 projects and help me getting them to work on my computer (64 bit Windows 7).
