Project Description

-We have a .NET beta application (Visual Studio 2010) that reads all http activity of a computer and register it in a log file.

-The application consists in a Windows Service and a Windows Application.

-We need some improvements and changes in the service, in order to make it fully functional.

Essentialy, the changes and improvements are:

-Change storage system from log files to an SQL Lite database.

-Change configuration system and variables from the windows registry to the SQL database.

-Develop a module than transfers all information stored to a web page using http POST.

-Develop a module that retrieves new configuration from a web page and change in the client.

-Develop a keypress module that register information of keypressed.

-Develop a purge function to purge old data from SQL.

-All the code has to be open code, easy to read, well structured and well commented, because we have to build future functions based on that code and we will need to modify.

-Before start, we will require a brief chat to know if all the tasks are well understood.

-At the end, we will require a brief final documentation of structure of the applicantion and/or special notes. Not more than a page or page and a half.

-Time is important, but the most important is that the time estimation has to be reliable. We prefer a partner that tell us that he need 7 days to acomplish the task, and use 7 days, than other that sais 3 days and acomplish in 5 days.

-We will provide source code of both applications to the awarded programer before start development. The awarded programmer then will have oportunity to look the source code and if he find appropiate he could withdraw or change the time and money estimation (only before start developing).

-See requirements document for more details.

-Please, do not hesitate to ask any doubt to make your offer.
