I am looking for an experienced developer to convert a Silverlight browser application into a WPF application. So basically the job is to convert it from a browser application to a desktop application.
I know that silverlight an WPF share alot of similarities and for the most part requires straightforward code and assembly changes. So I don't think you will need to substitute any libraries.
The application in question is not my software but is an open source browser based video editor called
Microsoft Media Platform Video Editor and was formerly known as rough cut editor. It allows you to edit videos in the web browser.
Please review the software before bidding.
Here is a link to the rough cut editor:

Anything that doesn't pertain to video editing can be removed such as the cloud features and web services, since this is going to be a desktop application.
If the UI needs to be changed for the desktop then that is fine, the UI doesnt have to remain flashly. The main thing is that it keeps it's video editing features.
If you need more information feel free to ask.
