Project Description

We are looking for a Android and iPhone(later) application for recording a sales activity by a salesman. It can be compared with Van Sales software.

The salesman on a day start synchronises with our database server(sql server 2005/2008/2012 or Oracle 9i+) and downloads all data for daily sales of the products. The data includes customer list for his route, list of all available products for sale, available promotions for the products, stock as per the database data. The salesman just have to login into the Android/iPhone app and should be able to synchronise with the database server through the wi-fi networks available.

Then the salesman goes to the route for sales. There may be hundreds of customers for the salesman to visit and do the sales & supply. During the sales, an invoice is being generated and the necessary data is being stored on the device. Then a printout of invoice is being given to the customer using a bluetooth dot matrix mobile printer(these printers are available from Intermec and other enterprise mobility device manufacturers). This routine is being done to all the customers which displays in his device as per the journey plan loaded from the database data.

At the end of the day, salesman comes back to office, starts synchronising with the database server to download all the data from android/iphone device and the day is closed.

All the reports and further settlements can be done based on the uploaded data. The back office will be developed using [url removed, login to view] 2010.
