Project Description

This project is to use a programming language (C# or other) to read an excel file and then organize the data and write

additional excel files from it.

The file to be read is called [url removed, login to view]

It contains 42523 lines.

[url removed, login to view] FORMAT:

Column A is a Zipcode.

Columb B is a State abbreviation.

Column C is a City.

Column D is an Area Code. (sometimes multiple Area Codes seperated by commas)

Column E is the Population.

FIRST STEP: Delete all rows from [url removed, login to view] where Population is less than 10000.

What I want delivered is one excel file for each Area Code. For example, the first 5 excel files created will be named...

[url removed, login to view]

[url removed, login to view]

[url removed, login to view]

And so on, for each Area Code.

The format for the delivered excel files will populate the excel columns A, B, and C.

Column A in the delivered excel files will contain a Zipcode, Column B will contain the corresponding City to the Zipcode,

and Column C will contain the population corresponding to the Zipcode and City from the original [url removed, login to view] file. The rows in

the created excel files should be ordered from highest population (C column) to lowest population.

Zipcodes with multiple Area Codes will be included in each Area Code *.xls file.

That's it.

A sample of 10 excel files for 10 different (random, your choice) Area Codes is required before a winning bidder is chosen

and full payment is released. This is to verify that freelancer is capable of performing the task.

Please Open PMB and attach example excel files and you will be awarded the project and paid immediately. Thank you.
