We already have a MVC code base that is nearly finished. However, we have a few changes that need done.
I will try to be as in depth as possible.
What we have...
The first thing that comes up is a login (username, password), that authenticates off of a table in a database, or active directory.
The login determines if a person is a Salesperson or a Approver, and gives either a customer order page, or an approval page.
Customer Order Page:
The first thing that comes up is a list of customers assigned to this Salesperson. This list is fetched from a table in a database.
Once a customer is selected, the order page comes up. This pages includes, a set of fields that are input from the user. There is a few fields that are pulled from a few tables, like Address and Item numbers.
Down at the bottom there is a table that holds multiple possible items that can be orders.
This page will display all orders pending. The approver can log in and view these orders, and approve/deny/modiy them. If approved, eConnect is used to enter order into our Dynamics database.
This system pulls data from our SQL Server. The data comes from multiple Databases (5-6 dbs). Attached are pictures of the interface, databases/tables, and their relations.
