Hello,

I have developed a complete ASP.NET 3.5 website, where I have a Contact form which is intended to be connected with an MSSQLExpress database.

Everything works fine on the development environment, but the database won't work on the production env. The database is situated in an App_Data folder beneath the main website folder. I know the name of the SQLEXPRESS server, which should be used. I just need the site and database to be connected seemlessly to each other. So what is needed, is:

* An .mdf database (provided by me) should be placed in App_Data.

* It should be assigned the correct access rights and authentication to enable visitors to post messages into it, via a Contact web form.

* It is only Administrators who should be allowed to modify or delete information in the DB. Normal visistors should only be allowed to post messages.

* All posting to the database goes via a web interface (Currently the contact form) developed by ourselves, with C# code. Later it might be possible that we will need more pages to access the DB in the same way; however, this shouldn't change the DB implementation itself.

SUMMARY: I need the database and App_Data folder to be set up with the right authentication method, access rights, etc. Furthermore, I need the different contents to be inserted in the [login to view URL] file to be used by our web applications, so the connection to the DB works seemlessly.

I look forward to hear from anyone interested. Supposedly it should be a rather simple task for anyone used to setup SQLEXPRESS DBs for web sites.

Any questions? Please contact me.

Best regards,
