I want to develop one board which will be based on 7 port self powered usb hub. Out of which one port will be attached with USB to rs232/Rs485 (PL2303HXD) and one will be connected with USB to RJ45 (AX88772A).
Front fascia will have following connectors:
Power input Socket
Other side of the PCB will have 3 * 4 pin Screw Terminal Block (STB) for the remaining 3 usb port, 1* 4 pin STB for uplink port, 9 pin STB for RS232 , 2 pin STB for RS485 , 2 Pin Dip selector for RS232/RS485 , one 2 pin socket for on/off switch , Power LED , 2 * 2 pin socket for 5v/2A output for other device.
for your reference three schematics (7 port usb hub , USB to RS232/Rs485 , USB to RJ45) are attached you have to combined all these three and remove the unwanted items .
For USB hub you can use any chip set that have support for Linux and android but for USB to RS232/RS485 you have to use Pl2303HXD and for USB to RJ45 you have to use (AX88772A)
