Project Description

Build a simple Dashboard very similar to that of Wordpress 3.6 where the layout of the page can be changed by dragging and dropping widget boxes as well as by changing the number of columns. I only need the ability for there to be either 1 column (100% wide) or 2 columns (approximately 48% wide). 2 columns should be the default setting. Widgets must be draggable only by their box-title. Their widget box-content (such as each user name below) must be draggable between widgets, example: drag a user name from one box to another box.

Here is one box, for instance.

The dashboard must work with multiple monitors allowing dragging and dropping from one display to another. A Firefox plugin for multiple monitors can be found here [url removed, login to view] You needn't make the page compatible with all browsers. Firefox is enough. I know HTML5 allows this type of dragging and dropping. I've never seen it work otherwise, but I'm open to any solutions.

The arrangement/layout of the widgets should be saved (serialized).
