Project Description

We are looking for PHP developers or companies to assist us with our ongoing projects who are experienced in PHP, MySQL, Ajax, Javascript, and CSS.

Our projects are mostly commercial websites with user interaction planned to generate traffic and build communities.

We have a wide range of projects to be developed and we are looking for individuals or firms specialise in different areas. It will be better for you to inform us on your powerful sides and what are you most experienced at rather than declaring that you can do everything.

First batch of work will be about streaming video applications and websites (No, not another clone of Youtube!) Individuals or companies experienced about crawlers will have an extra advantage.

All interested bidders please put a place holder bid and send us your brief personal or company profile and your portfolio.

We are looking for long term commitment for our projects and maintenance. If you are not up to this please do not waste each others time.

Our first project is to update our existing website using a modular (classes) structure so that we can re-use those modules in our other websites.

We will PM the website address separately.

Module 1:
When a user or an Admin enters a video URL, this module will visit the providers site, fetch the information from chosen parts of the page and save those results in the database.

- Video URL
- Video thumbnail
- Video title
- Video description
- Video tags

There will be a master script that can be edited by us and we should be able to create separate versions of the master script for different websites to fetch this information.

Module 2 :

The function of this module will be generating downloadable links of videos from streaming video websites.

Individual scripts for each video provider will convert video site's URL to downloadable links.

Input can be done by a user or an Admin on different systems.

Module 3 Archive

This module will generate new pages for archive.

It is going to be used for automation of generating pages with different output structure and different pages.

Module 4 RSS infuser

This module will help us use an Admin panel where we can generate a code that we can use in any site.

We should be able to add new RSS channels into our database.

Site Admin should be able to enter/choose an RSS feed, keyword and number of lines to be shown from that rss feed and the module will generate a code that can be used in any part of the site..

Module 5 : Video infuser

This module should be able to connect to module 1 and module 2 to get the data for any video chosen either by user request or by admin and generate an output.

This output should be used to generate pages to show embedded videos and its information on any page with a different design easily.

Module 6 : Databases

We will need carefully planned database saving lots of data in, in order to project these in different forms.

Module 7 : Crawlers

We will need different types of crawlers.

They will either run 24/7 on many websites or will be programmed to crawl a specific website frequently.

Module 8: Admin Area

A form that, where the page name, title, video URL, video embed code, tags, description (and at least 10 additional input fields needed for future use) can be entered to create a new page.

All created pages have to be written in to the dB. The new page URL will be similar to: [url removed, login to view]

Admin Menu to Edit and Delete the existing pages.

All created pages must show on the Visitor Area’s Menu as a link.

All the information from the saved page must display on a template driven page on the Visitor Area.

Any blank fields from the Admin area will not display on visitors’ page.

Visitors will be able to write their comments, but Admin has to approve the comments before making it public.

Bids starting without “Conturalicious” word in the beginning will only prove your ignorance to this project and will be deleted immediately.
