Project Description

On a search results page of a new site currently in development, there are three things that I am unable to do. These are as follows:

URL: [url removed, login to view]

1.) Once the user has done a search, there is a area that allows the user to filter the property results further.. At present, this is using a very basic php form with a submit button and is not very usable and does not work. I would like this changed so that the search results update onclick of the selected filter utilising an ajax call to the db, and that the numbers (shown in brackets) next to each filter category is updated relative to the previous selection.

For example,

If I click "Close to beach", the properties will be updated to only show 28 properties.

The "Shared Pool" number in brackets should then update to show how many properties from the 28 that are "close to beach" also have a "shared pool", This would obviously be less than 28.

All other filter categories should also update in the same way.

2,) On a number of pages, the "Search our latest offers" is shown. This also uses a very bulky php form and should also be updated so as to work in the same way as the filter (1), allowing for more than one option to be selected on select, with no submit button.

3.) The calendar on the properties need to assume that the first and end day of any unavailable dates are half days as people will be vacating and joining the property. We therefore need to:

a. Show a half day graphically

b. Allow a user to start their holiday on a unavailable last day, or end their holiday on a unavailable first day.

c. Update the availability section in the website admin, to also assume the same as (1) and (2)
