Project Description

Looking for a database/password/registration form expert to create an automated system & database update for a certain content website. I would like for buyers who have purchased a password via Pay Pal (valid for one year) to immediately be able to log in, their information written to a database automatically, and their own password immediately is active. I would like to be able to access that database to keep track of buyers as well (so it must be in a writable format, such as php or xml).

Currently, users make the purchase via PayPal. This generates an email to me, and then I create the password, write it by hand to an xml file and send their passwords out. This is all very cumbersome and people usually have to wait a few hours.

Once a user has paid for a password, I would like them to be re-directed to this page (this I will arrange via PayPal):
[url removed, login to view]

or, if they are Dutch-speakers, to this page:
[url removed, login to view]

They would fill in their information – generate their own password - and hit “submit”. That would WRITE the following information to a database:
- Login (email address)
- Password (chosen by them)
- Date of password expiration (1 year after today’s date)

Once this is done, they would be re-directed to this page to enter their information and view the site:
[url removed, login to view] (but this might need to be rebuilt to fit with a new system)

This is the current database containing the users’ information: [url removed, login to view]

Please tell me what all of this would take – what it would look like, what programming languages would be used, how long it would take and what the price would be. Any questions welcome. The deadline would be end of next week sometime.

Many thanks,
Fiona
