This is an easy project for the right person. It is an existing web site and database that is about 60% complete and needs to be finished up in a fairly short time frame. The site tracks prospects and donors for a non-profit organization, allowing fund-raisers the ability to search prospects, record donations, and track what the donations have been applied to. Currently, the site is developed in C# with ASP.net 2.0 and a SQL Server 2000 database. The site does not require extensive UI or security - that is being handled by another team. We simply need the database finished, some data imported, and a few enhancements made to some of the existing pages, as well as a couple of new pages built to retrieve data from the database, view it, and make some edits. For the right person, they will not have to concern themselves with the look and feel, as this will be turned over to another team to complete. Mainly it will be setting up GridViews, FormViews for editing, and some simple searches and filters for some GridView-based reporting. Additionally, navigation is not an issue, as this is also being handled by another team. ## Deliverables Currently, the site consists of 5 simple pages: 1) Add/Edit Project 2) Add/Edit Solicitors 3) Add/Edit Prospect 4) Add/Edit Sponsor 5) Add/Edit Payment The database is complete and should not require any new database design. Definitions: Project - that which we are currently accepting donations for Solicitor - a fundraiser - the person who will be contacting prospects to request a donation Prospect - a company that has expressed interest in donating funds or items in the past Sponsor - a Prospect that has been assigned a Solicitor and is in the process of donating funds Payment - funds that have been received from a Sponsor **Current "To Do" items: **1) Add a simple search capability to Prospects to filter the GridView results such that it only displays Prospects that contain the searched-for phrase 2) Create a "Sponsored Item" page which consists of a specific item (such as a computer) that requires funds to be raised for it. The Sponsored Item will have an overall value associated with it, like $1000. If the Sponsored Item is an event - like a dinner party - it too will have a cost associated with it, such as $5000, and a date/time that the event starts. Sponsored Items will also have a description associated with them. The user should have the ability to view all current sponsored items associated with a particular project, as well as add/edit/delete operations to change any details about a sponsored item. 3) Create a "Sponsorship" page which breaks down "Sponsored Items" into smaller units needing sponsored. For instance, if we needed to purchase a new computer, the new computer would be an item that might be broken down into 10 one-hundred-dollar sponsorships to raise $1000 to buy a new computer. A sponsorship would link to the item description and the value of the sponsorship. Need Add/Edit/View capabilities to view all Sponsorships, or filter to view all sponsorships for a particular Sponsored Item. 4) Need a "Payments Applied" page to take "Payments Received" and assign them to "Sponsorsips." For instance, if a check arrives for $500 and this is going to be applied to a $1000 computer (consisting of 10 one-hundred-dollar sponsorships) then we need to track that this one payment was applied to 5 one-hundred-dollar sponsorships towards a computer. 5) Need to create a simple GridView report page to display all remaining sponsorships, and assign a payment, if needed (similar to #4 but instead of displaying sponsorships that currently exist, need to display sponsorships that need to be filled.) 6) Need to create a simple GridView report to display prospects that have not been contacted yet - I.E., for the current project, no Sponsor records yet exist. 7) Need to add referential integrity to the current database design to identify Foreign Key relationships, as well as cascading deletes and prevent a delete from occuring to a record that is in use. 8) Need to add error-checking to delete operations in the UI to warn the user if a record is in use and disallow the delete. **Terms of acceptance: **1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Server environment: * ASP.net 2.0 * Windows Server 2003 * SQL Server 2000 * C# Client environment: * Most popular Windows and Mac browsers - the default .Net controls support should be fine. Very little Javascript or fancy HTML features should be required to complete this project.
