I want to get a software for extracting specific data (Back and Lay odds for specific sport events) from sports betting sites and/or betting exchanges. I think this data would have to appear on an Excel sheet in order to be able to make some calculations using the extracted data (odds).
The target is to get as many data as possible from several sites (up to 10) but the basic would be to use two betting exchange sites like Betfair and Parbet extracting the odds for every events to take place in the next 24 hours. If that would be many data we could concentrate on just a few events like soccer, tennis, basketball, baseball, etc…
Once the data is extracted on the Excel sheet we have to use it to make some calculations and set up some kind of alarm if there is a value over a specific set point, i.e. if the calculated value is higher than 100 the alarm will have to appear and if it lower that data is not needed, so we could delete it or updated later to check if it reaches the set point (100), if this happens is because some of the odds extracted from the sites have changed. The ability to scan that changes frequently as well as the ability to change the set point that I want the alarm to sound at also would be useful.
Currently there is a site called tip-ex which does this kind of thing among several more applications. You can check it out in order to get a better idea of what I want. Follow this steps:
In the home page of [[url removed, login to view]]click on "odds comparison" (green button, left upper corner), then go to the box "Advanced Options" (almost in the middle of the page) and select "menu 2", there you get the principal page showing all the sport betting sites and betting exchanges and different utilities, but lets focus on a simple example: there in the column "type", pick "sure wins" then on the column "Books" select "Betfair", "Parbet" and a few more, then Click on send and a pop up window will appear showing the "sure wins" among the selected Books and the percentage of winning (normally between 101 (1%) and 105 (5%)) and that’s all.
I want the extracted data in the Excel sheet looks like that.
In this case the calculation is made only using the “Back?? odds but the software also has to be able to make calculations using the “Lay?? odds extracted from betting exchanges and compare them against the “Back?? odds extracted from the other betting exchange for the same event and outcome.
