Here is an interesting project, which needs to be able to extract the detailed data contents of a webpage, currently framed inside either the Internet Explorer or Mozilla browser page and then extract and store certain data values into an Access or SQL Data Base. Specifically, one example would be taking the results of the [login to view URL] Employers Candidate Resume Search Page and NOT the Jobseekers Career Opportunity Search Page. Start in the upper right hand corner of the [login to view URL] Homepage with the Employers Click Here link create a demo account then click on Employers Login then Search Resumes then Free Test Drive then Advanced Search and then you are displaying a Summary Page of ALL resumes returned then you will select one of these Summary Resumes to view the Detailed resume including Contact Info Job History and a Summary section. All steps have to be manual point-and-click steps since the URL's reached have GUID's as part of the path to follow to the Detailed Resume Page. Using either a Right-Click context sensitive drop down menu or some sort of Customized IE Toolbar selection, the user will click on a choice reading: [Save Resume] and the newly written ASP.NET program (or other programming language) will 'Screen Scrape' all the required mapped data from this detailed resume and store it in a set of SQL Tables to be defined starting with a Job Requistion Header Record and Multiple possible related child Contact Header Records (one for each Candidate Resume assigned to the Search Firm's Parent Job Requisition Number), and a then sequence of Job History Records, one for each Employer in the current Candidate's Resume including Position Title, Dates of Employment, Employer Name and the Detailed Job Description text. The Summary Information would be stored in the same record as the Contact Header Record on a 1-for-1 basis. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). * * *This broadcast message was sent to all bidders on Wednesday Feb 1, 2006 11:10:06 AM: Attention: Cold Fusion MX 7 Custom Tags using C++, has just been added as an acceptable Screen Scraping platform for this application. In fact, it might just have become the preferred platform of choice depending on the pricing and the delivery dates. Anyone who can demonstrate expertise in Cold Fusion Custom Tags using C++ will jump to the top of the preferred bidders list. Also, if you have not yet tried to create a [login to view URL] Employer Sample User Account and actually browsed to the page in question manually, you may not have a true feel for the complexity involved with this application. I encourage you to do so. ## Platform Windows Advanced Server 2003, ASP.NET, VB.NET, IIS 6.0 **Cold Fusion MX 7 Custom Tag using C++ is also an acceptable alternative to ASP and ASP.NET as well.**
